Roof assembly ventilation continues to be challenged at the code and regulatory level by organizations and individuals who work from anecdotal information and make decisions without complete understanding and consideration of the interaction of all building elements and instances where roof/attic ventilation should be used. The Roof Assembly Ventilation coalition's establishment is in direct response to these challenges. The RAV Coalition is the new voice that will prove and develop the sound science and data needed to make an informed decision.
